Our materials
At eve in paradise, we focus primarily on high-quality materials from natural sources.
Here we have compiled valuable care tips for washing and ironing our fine natural materials.
Vegetable fibers

Cotton
Eve in Paradise uses a large proportion of cotton from certified organic farming (kba). This term is legally protected and prohibits the use of chemicals, genetic engineering, and synthetic pesticides. The cotton fiber is particularly soft, durable, and easy to care for, making it comfortable to wear year-round.

Linen
Our natural fiber originates in France. Linen is high-quality, tear-resistant, and breathable. Due to its moisture-regulating properties, linen is cooling and pleasant on the skin, especially in summer.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose
These fibers are sourced from FSC-certified forests. Thanks to a closed-loop production process, the fibers are particularly environmentally friendly and therefore sustainable. We source our fabrics from certified and tested suppliers.

Tencel™
Here, too, the fiber is sourced from controlled sustainable forestry. We use certified Tencel Lyocel fibers from Lenzing, which are produced in a particularly environmentally friendly and resource-efficient manner.

Bamboo fiber
Bamboo is a viscose fiber and belongs to the regenerated fiber family. Due to the plant's rapid growth, large quantities can be used annually without endangering the plant's resources. Bamboo fibers are particularly soft and colorfast. Furthermore, the fiber is highly breathable and naturally regulates moisture transport from the body.

Animal fibers

Wool
New wool is obtained from the soft fur of sheep. This is done either by shearing or combing the wool. Wool is considered particularly windproof and durable. Processing takes place at our long-standing partner companies, and we attach great importance to ensuring that the wool is mulesing-free.

Alpaca wool
Alpaca fiber is a soft, silky-lustrous natural fiber. If you look at the fiber's structure, you'll notice that it's hollow inside, which gives it unique thermal properties. Alpaca wool insulates and retains body heat in winter. In summer, the fibers provide a pleasant thermal balance.

cashmere
Cashmere is one of the most expensive yarns in the world. It is obtained from the undercoat of the cashmere goat and is characterized by its outstanding wearability and warmth, as well as its particularly soft feel. Cashmere wool is six times warmer than sheep's wool because its fibers retain heat better. This precious fiber is water-repellent and very flexible, quickly returning to its original shape after crumpling.

Yak wool
Yak wool is the wool obtained from Asian cattle (yaks) by combing or shearing. This very fine and lightweight yak wool has many positive properties. It is extremely cozy and soft, comparable to cashmere, warmer than virgin wool, breathable, and even hypoallergenic.

silk
Silk is characterized by its beautiful luster and high strength. The extraordinary length of this natural fiber, its fineness, and its characteristic feel make silk one of the finest textiles. It is breathable and temperature-resistant, thus insulating against both cold and heat. Its smooth and fine structure also makes this natural material very skin-friendly.

What is mulesing-free?
Mulesing is a widespread practice in Australia in which the skin folds around the anus and genital area of Merino lambs are cut away. Mulesing is a cruel and painful mutilation of the animals and is strongly opposed by us for animal welfare reasons.
