OUR COMMITMENT

Our specific sustainable measures and goals.

THE JOURNEY IS THE REWARD

Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts. That's why we approach the topic holistically and consider it from many different perspectives. We also see sustainability as an ongoing process.

As Confucius said: The journey is the reward. We strive to constantly improve and question our actions.

We are aware that we are not perfect. Nevertheless, we are committed to taking responsibility and making better decisions every day by minimizing our ecological and social impact across our entire business chain.

How we get involved

Since 2020, we have been involved in environmental and climate protection together with our partner PLANT-MY-TREE®. An active contribution to CO² offsetting is an important measure to protect our planet's environment in the long term and leave a livable earth for future generations.

At eve in paradise, we have a great responsibility for the planet we pass on to our children. We recognize that we are not perfect. Nevertheless, we are committed to taking responsibility and making better choices every day by minimizing our environmental and social impacts across our entire business chain.

Our certificates

Regular quality assurance and controls

eve in paradise considers certifications an important part of our responsible corporate governance. We see them as a transparent and honest way to ensure full traceability of materials throughout all stages of production. The various certificates take a holistic approach and include, among other things, social responsibility, environmental impact, and/or animal welfare.

THE CERTIFICATES

GOTS The GOTS seal is re-awarded annually, and companies are subject to regular inspections. For a garment to receive the GOTS seal, it must consist of at least 70% natural fibers in organic/biodynamic quality and meet comprehensive social and ecological criteria in its production.

OCS 100 applies to products, excluding food, that contain 95-100 percent organically certified material. It allows for the tracking of the content and quantity of organically certified material in a finished product and tracing the raw material from source to finished product.

OCS Blended The Organic Content Standard (OCS) applies to products, excluding food, that contain 5-94 percent organically certified material. It allows for the tracking of the content and quantity of organically certified material in a finished product and tracing the raw material from source to finished product.

PETA VEGAN The "PETA-Approved Vegan" label identifies vegan fashion and ensures that the entire item is free of animal ingredients and that no animal materials are used in its production.

International Association of the Natural Textile Industry

We are also a member of the IVN (International Association of Natural Textile Industry). This obligates us to the highest standards in sustainable textile production. The IVN advocates for environmentally friendly and socially responsible production processes in the textile industry and promotes transparency and credibility along the entire supply chain. As a member of this association, we continuously strive to manufacture our products according to these strict guidelines to protect the environment and ensure fair working conditions.

High-quality materials

Mulesing frei

OUR WOOL IS

MULESING FREE

Mulesing is a widespread practice in Australia in which the skin folds around the anus and genital area of Merino lambs are cut away. Mulesing is a cruel and painful mutilation of the animals and is strongly opposed by us for animal welfare reasons.

OUR PARTNERS

At eve in paradise, we take responsibility for our production chain. This means that we know all the producers involved – from the raw material supplier to the weaving mill, the yarn spinning mill, the dyeing mill, the printing plant, and the sewing workshop. This is only possible because we have pursued a strategy of long-term, collaborative partnerships with a small number of producers for years.

We attach great importance to fair and safe working conditions, high social standards and fair pay.
