Last Thursday, we embarked on an adventure that took our team dynamic to a new level: an alpaca hike! What was planned as a normal team-building event turned into an unforgettable experience full of fun, connection with nature, and genuine team spirit.
Our day began at noon with pure anticipation as we gathered at the agreed meeting point. After a brief introduction and meeting our furry companions – the alpacas – we were ready to begin the hike. Each of us was assigned an alpaca, and it didn't take long before we fell in love with these gentle creatures. Along the way, we had time to laugh, chat, and get to know our teammates on a whole new level.
Since we as a company use a lot of alpaca wool in our knitting, the alpaca hike was also a great opportunity to learn more about these adorable animals. We learned a lot about the animals themselves, their care, and their behavior. After the hike, we were allowed to visit the mare stable, where we could admire pregnant mares. As a bonus, we saw several cute baby alpacas! Their playful energy made us smile and rounded off the day perfectly.
We were delighted to be able to support a local farm near us in Langenhagen. At the end of the day, we strolled through the small farm shop and discovered beautiful local products. After an exciting day in nature, we rounded off the evening with a fantastic dinner. We shared our highlights and enjoyed the time together. It was the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable team-building adventure.
Overall, it was a wonderful event that bonded us together as a team. We are grateful for this unique experience and are already looking forward to the next adventure we will experience together as a team.
